The progress has been closely monitored of clients who have had the 'balloon' rather than the 'band' and from the information gained the results show that the 'implantation' of the 'balloon' was easier than having a 'band' and the weight loss effects are significantly faster for those with only a few stones to lose. (However for those with large amounts of weight to lose the 'band' is still the better option).

The stages are the same as the band except in the third one a Virtual Hypnotic Gastric Balloon is 'fitted' not a Hypnotic Gastric Band.

There are less types of foods that are restricted with this system, which is one of the reasons that it is more successful.
